Population refers to the number of people living in a particular area. Areas of settlement can have many or few people due to different factors. Areas with many people are said to be densely or highly populated while areas with few people are said to have scattered population or to be sparsely populated.
The population in Kenya is not evenly distributed. Some areas are densely populated while others as sparsely populated.
